wine tasting and lunch of regional cheese & local sausage platter
11.30am: Wine Tasting - Join us at The English Wine Centre for an informal tour of the establishment including our 17th century Walton's Oak Barn followed by a light hearted but informative tasting of a range of English Wines as well as organic drinks.
12.30pm: Sussex Lunch - Regional Ccheeses, homemade soda bread, local sausages, mixed salads and hot new potatoes served with a glass of wine, cider or organic apple juice. Followed by homemade chocolates and a cup of tea or coffee.
£27.50 per person

Quality Sparkling House Bubbly, dry
Made from grapes grown in the southeast by the Ridgeview award winning vineyard. Delicious mousse followed by good light biscuity flavours.
Limney 'Horsmonden' Dry 2006
Made from organically grown grapes, certified by the UK Soil Association. A lively and youthful wine with a mineral nose and a slatey finish. The aromatic flavours will develop as it ages. Ideal with most light foods and white meats.
Wickham Fumé 2006
Produced mainly from Bacchus and Reichensteiner grapes, it has been fermented and matured in small French oak barrels, giving a fine balance of fruit and oak.
Cuckmere - off dry white
Grown especially for the English Wine Centre this blend of Schonburger and Huxelrebe produce in the hot summer of 2003 reflects the wonderful fruit flavours we come to expect from our wine.
Three Choirs Rose 2006
A light aroma of strawberry and summer fruits lifts from the glass to deliver a delicious off-dry rosé wine. With refreshing yet delicate jammy flavours. A good accompaniment to cheese and fish.
Premium Selection Red 2005
This delightfully rounded red has been expertly made by the Three Choirs Vineyard.Additional information to help with your tasting will be included in the tasting case.
Cost: The six bottles will be £53.50 plus carriage at £12.50.The carriage remains the same if you have a larger group and need two bottles of each. Should you wish to select other wines from our list we are of course pleased to assist you with this selection.
